- Michael A. Fornaro, PhD, is an esteemed interior architect, fine art advisor, and high value content personal property appraiser with over 15 years services and reviews. He holds a PhD in Urban Studies and Public Policy from Cleveland State University, a Master’s in Architecture from Miami University (Oxford, Ohio), a BFA in Interior Design from Bowling Green State University, and has completed postgraduate studies at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. Dr. Formaro’s distinguished career blends academic research with professional practice, making him a leader in his field. Dr. Fornaro specializes in providing Insurance Scheduling Appraisals to ensure clients have the correct coverage for their prized possessions. These appraisals offer an itemized, photographic inventory of each item, detailed descriptions, and professionally rendered Replacement Costs*. Additionally, they satisfy the proof of ownership requirement for insurance claims or federal tax deductions under IRS Form 8283. He emphasizes the importance of maintaining accurate records, including bills of sale, provenance documentation, prior appraisals, and photographs of items, as these can become invaluable in the event of loss or damage.
